Teaching Creativity with Mold Making and Casting

ComposiMold provides an inexpensive method for teaching all your students the basics of Mold Making and Casting

Teach without Waste, Teach Hand’s on Skills

Teach mold making, prototype development, and casting with a reusable mold making material. Used by Art teachers, industrial arts teachers, College Art Professors, and students!

Use the same mold making material for all your classes. No mixing, melts in the microwave or with a double boiler.

Use clay to make your original master castings. Use low cost plaster for the sculptures. When your students have completed their castings, the ComposiMold can be remelted and reused. Great for learning the skills of mold making and casting.
Even better if you can-use chocolate for your casting! Melt, mold, cast, eat, and repeat. Now that’s a way to get your students involved!

"I had 16 Bowdoin students today pour 16 molds - almost a gallon of ComposiMold, and they were loving it. All of them are first-time mold makers. This non-catalyzed and reusable system is PERFECT for them, and for me. They'll cast their first objects on Tuesday of next week, they wanted to do it today already, couldn't wait for their molds to set up, there was a collective groan when I told them they would have to wait. Good stuff."

From Pennsylvania: "We plan on ordering and using the Composimold FC to teach some additional 3D modeling, toolpathing, and CNC within our drafting curriculum by creating 3D models in AutoCAD inventor, creating the CNC toolpaths in MasterCAM, cutting with a ShopBot machine, and then making molds and pouring chocolate to teaching the casting."
